The series "Your Honor"

Every disgrace brings its share of troubles

Everyone makes little mistakes. Monumental mistakes, well, let’s just say they’re less common. It’s with this in mind that the thriller drama *Your Honor* sets the stage. It is directed by Peter Moffat and premiered on the Showtime television network. It was later broadcast in its French version on Crave and Canal+ in France.

The story follows the son of a judge named Michael Desiato (Bryan Cranston from Breaking Bad)—who is at the height of his reputation—as he accidentally kills the son of the most powerful mafia boss. The killer in question will have to find different ways to get out of this mess. At times, you’ll see him make choices that may seem implausible at first glance. In fact, that’s one of the series’ strengths.

The son won't be alone in taking this risk, by the way. In fact, his father—who is also a judge—will have to balance his role as a judge with his role as a father.

This series is the American adaptation of the Israeli series *Kvodo*. It premiered on December 6, 2020. Season 1 consists of 10 episodes ranging from 54 to 63 minutes. The audience on the Rotten Tomatoes website gives it a rating of 65%. However, forming your own opinion is still the best option.
